Nightly News: 'Little Miss Sunshine' Team Reunite for Indie 'He Loves Me'

Remember'Little Miss Sunshine,'that delightful 2006 indie film about a family that takes a cross-country trip in their VW bus to get their young daughter into the finals of a kiddie beauty pageant? Well much of the force behind that project -- directors Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, producer Albert Berger and Ron Yerxa, and co-starPaul Dano-- are reuniting for 'He Loves Me,' an indie comedy being written by Zoe Kazan, Dano's real-life girlfriend (who also will co-star). According to theLos Angeles Times,the project revolves around a novelist whose success early in his career causes him to doubt his abilities and, in order to overcome writer's block, he's told to write the woman he thinks will love him. He then winds up willing her into existence. Sounds like the plot of an old 'Twilight Zone' episode. Dano, of course, will play the lead.

As expected,Julia Robertshas signed on to star as the Queen in Relativity Media's'The Brothers Grimm: Snow White'(one of three competing Snow White projects on the books in Hollywood). Tarsem Singh will direct the movie, which follows Snow White who, with her band of seven dwarves, seeks revenge after her evil stepmother kills her father. {The Hollywood Reporter}
